The Good and Bad

We have been So incredibly busy around here, with trying to get everything ready for the shop opening, gearing up for another homeschool year, and catching up on computer work after being without a useable computer for a few days. Things are “jumpin’” LOL!  With all this, I’ve got good and bad news.  Which would you like to hear first?  I’ll go with the bad first, although it ’s really not that bad, but definitely necessary. 

Seems, our grand opening will have to be pushed back yet one more time, to the fourth week in March, Thursday, March 26th to be exact.  My soapmaking supplies didn’t get here when we thought they would, so that moves our whole schedule back. We want to do this right, so we’ll have to be cautious on the front end, and take the time we need.  

The good news is, that I have finally received my new macbook!  Yaay, so updating ye trusty old blog will be MUCH easier, and getting my work done will move right along on this baby!  I’ve only had it a few hours at the time of this post, but I truly love the little contraption, just as easy as always to use.  Has a few new really neat features, my favorite being the built in camera (DD’s favorite too..), but there are lots of other little bells and whistles. For those of you who work form home, like I do, Macs are SO worth the money, I have to admit.  (This from the spouse of an HP employee… PC’s feed me!  :->)  This replacement comes after 5 years from my last powerbook, and it’s not dead yet, just not as “young” as it used to be.. ;-) 

This newest member of the family is the Apple MacBook MB881LL/A 13.3-Inch Laptop (2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, Slot Loading SuperDrive), it’s actually $50 less then retail at amazon right now!  They’ve got a pretty good write-up with all the specs, details and reviews. 

Well, tomorrow, I’ll be working on a new series for you, on getting into shape the natural way… Summer will be here before you know it! We’re gonna have beautiful skin AND the hot bod’s in that skin, by the time it gets here, so stay tuned!
